Ursine

The ursines are a race of humanoid bears that dwell in temperate woodlands throughout Hyerune. They dwell in shallow caves or wooden structures built from materials at hand

The ursine culture is steeped in ancient wisdom and folklore that is passed down through the generations in written records. Larger communities of ursines will keep a Great Book filled with this knowledge. This book is the most prized possession as it serves as a link to the past and their ancestors. Ursine adults are very protective of their cubs and try to shelter them from outside influences whenever possible.
