It is only natural that like-minded individuals will gravitate toward one another for mutual support and to fulfill a common goal. It is no different for the creatures of Hyerune who have formed countless Orders, Groups and Societies with purposes that are both malevolent and benign.
Included on this page is a list of some of the more well known groups along with a link to access further details on that particular order or group. Some orders are sponsored by one or more of the religious faiths of Hyerune though this is not a prerequisite. Orders and groups are listed in alphabetical order for ease of reference.

| Astromancers | A group of specialist diviners centered around the Kingdom of Valoria. The Astromancers have long aided the Royal Family of Valoria and succeeded in predicting, and thus lessening the effects of, several catastrophic events. |
| Beastlords | A druidic order dedicated to the god Jaro, lord of the jungle lands. Not to be confused with the semi-divine offspring of the deity, the druidic Beastlords are an aggressive and animalistic order found mainly in the jungle regions of Hyerune. Each member selects a personal animal totem and adapts a manner of dress and fighting style similar to this creature. |
| Blood Claw, Order of the | A military order open to orcish warriors of Ghereg, the creator deity of the orcs. They are most active within the lands of Olgloth and are known for their fierce fanaticism. The membership are often used by the orcish clergy of Ghereg in a number of facets, particularly to enforce the cleric's will. The head of the order is a dangerous orc barbarian known as Ramgarh the Dreadhammer. |
| Callers of the Grave | An arcane order of specialist necromancers gathered together for purposes of sinister acts, sharing of knowledge and self advancement. Many are followers of Kharon, the lord of the dead and most have an unnatural fascination with death and the dead. The order is quite secretive and their exact number and power bases are unknown. |
| Celestial Knights | A sanctified order of psychic warriors sworn to uphold the laws of the Meridian Empire while defending the body of the Emperor himself. Most members are lawful neutral and are governed by the wise Council of Marshalls, an executive body of 13 powerful psychic warriors. |
| Champions of the Frontierguard | A ranger order located along the fringe of society. Though somewhat uncivilized, their members work to safeguard the lands of the north. Many are expert horse riders and maintain a comprehensive communication network between the membership. |
| Creeping Hand | An order of monks dedicated to Zhinda, the god of espionage. Most members are lawful evil in alignment and are skilled at blending into their environment whilst moving unnoticed by their enemies. This secretive order has chapters in many of the larger communities of Hyerune and excel in the subtle arts of eavesdropping, extortion, sabotage and blackmail. |
| Daughters of Twilight | An order of female monks dedicated to the moon goddess Celinia. They are most active at night and known for their use of the exotic throwing weapon known as the chakram, often seen as a lunar device. Members are dedicated to protecting the Prime Material Plane from incursions from the Lower Planes and always work in pairs or small groups. |
| Despised Ones, Circle of the | An arcane order open only to hobgoblins in the service of their chief deity Noghri. The Despised Ones are well known throughout the lands of Argonak and the Fenmarch were their order is most active. Members use magical fear spells as a potent tool as well as other mind influencing effects. The order recently pulled off a successful coup with their former leader now sitting on the Tainted Throne of Argonak. A new head of the order has yet to be chosen. |
| Ebon Claw, Order of the | An order of monks dedicated to Mordagh, the Dreadmother and goddess of evil. They are a particularly savage and violent sect known for their lightning fast precision strikes. Members are zealots and are known to strike fear in their communities whilst enforcing the decrees of the local Mordaghite High Cleric or Abbot. |
| Endorial Avengers | A militant band of rangers united under the fellowship of their patron goddess Endorie, the Lady of the Evergreens. Sometimes called "Greencloaks," the membership hunt down those who defile the natural world and then punish them accordingly. |
| Forgotten Ones | An arcane order of magi devoted to unlocking the secrets of the ancients. They are keepers of ancient lore and wisdom. Most members are lawful neutral with ranking members often taking a few levels of the Loremaster prestige class. They are headquartered in the fabled "Tower of Secrets" located in northeastern Meridia along the banks of the Silvertine River. |
| Indigo Order | An arcane order with exactly 8 members, each a specialist in one of the eight Schools of Magic. Formerly located in the Imperial Capital of Primus, the group has temporarily disbanded until it can decide on a new location for its headquarters. The Indigo Order is headed by Glandor the White, a powerful abjurer as well as a priest of Glanya, the goddess of healing. |
| Initiates of the Heartwood | A druidic order known for their great skills at healing. Members are quite wise and knowledgable in the ways of the wood but also share a special fondness for humanity and ones symbiotic association with the natural world. Members are always neutral good and many have high Charisma scores with a strong competence in Diplomacy. Members are found throughout Hyerune but the Order's headquarters are located in the Glenhaven Forest of Central Aldaria. |
| Keepers of the Dawn | A religious order dedicated to Auralia, goddess of the dawn. Members are mainly clerics though a few paladins, nobles and lay ministers also number in their rank. All serve as the principle advisory body to the reigning Prelate of Glorwenia in central Aldaria. Unlike other orders, the Keepers generally do NOT venture past the borders of the Prelacy. They operate out of the Halls of the Rising Sun in the capital city of Fairwind. |
| Luckriders | An order of adventurers affiliated with the Church of Johvi, god of chance. Members are known for their carefree attitudes and are often quite charismatic. Most members are fighters, rogues, fighter/rogues or bards with a tendency toward neutral, chaotic neutral or chaotic good alignments. They often wear numerous lucky talismans and rarely form any permanent attachments since they rarely remain in one location for any great length of time. |
| Mariner Lords of the Undine Isle | A militaristic order located exclusively within the Kingdom of Undine. Members are skilled at sailing and maritime law and serve within the Royal Navy of the kingdom. Members are all graduates of the Royal Naval College and hold various ranks within the navy as well as minor noble titles. |
| Mindrippers | A psionic order dedicated to the evil aspects of Hrungnir, god of telepathy. Members are neutral evil and use psionics as a potent weapon in an attempt to dominate all other lifeforms. Members are shrewd and cunning and often specialize in distortion-type manifestations and powers used to avoid detection or capture. |
| Order of the Otyugh | A quasi-religious order dedicated to Jaladhi, the rat-goddess and mistress of the alleyways. Members of the order are primarily rogues, barbarians, brigands and mercenaries who use the foul-smelling Otyugh as their heraldic symbol. The order is particularly active within the Padishate of Bengalia and are headquartered in the city of Varuna. |
| Phantom Magi | A gnomish arcane order dedicated to the Norri god Gwindor, master of illusions. Members are all spellcasters often specializing in the School of Illusion. The order is also skilled at the arts of infiltration, concealment and espionage and therefore can also include members with levels from the Rogue class. The order is somewhat secretive and its true goals are unknown but it is thought that they are opponents of the Cult of Zhinda. The order is rumored to be headquarted in the city of Glitterguild, capital of the Kingdom of Bediwyr. |
| Scragwood Druids | A druidic order of Northern Aldari centered within the great Scragwood, a forest realm of heavy growth, thorny plants and dense canopy. They are lead by Archdruid Barrin Ashwood. |
| Shadoweavers | A dark and fearsome order located within the lands of Mordregion. The Shadoweavers are a great enigma to many outside that death realm. Members always appear wearing flowing and tattered black robes but are believed to be "cybernetic" creatures, part human and part machine. All are fiercely loyal to the Lich-Lord of Mordregion and operate exclusively in carrying out his will. |
| Sunfist, Brotherhood of | An order of monks dedicated to the god Anu, lord of the sun. Members are all lawful good and dedicated to the virtues of truth and justice. Their main goal is the destruction of the creatures known as the undead. Members often use spells of bright light and illumination during combat as a sign of devotion to their patron deity. |
| Thistle Order Druids | A druidic order devoted to a number of nature deities but with a close association with the world of the fay. Their membership protects bountiful lands and regions of idyllic beauty and are located throughout Hyerune. |
| Thought Explorers | A psionic order dedicated to the neutral aspects of Hrungnir, god of telepathy. Members are true neutrals and tend to be somewhat arrogant in their interactions with others. Many specialize in psionic manifestations related to gathering information as well as psychic travel and psychoportation. The Order is dedicated to the maintainance of the great cosmic balance. |
| War Mages of Rendore | An elite arcane order centered around the Kingdom of Rendore. Members are divided into two distinct power bases based on speciality. The Battlemages focus on the offensive evocation magicks while the Shieldmages focus on the defensive abjuration magicks. Each work in harmony with the other and often fight side by side. The order is commanded by the Sorcerer-General of Rendore. |
| White Wurm, Order of the | A psionic order dedicated to the good aspects of Hrungnir, god of telepathy. Members are neutral good in alignment and view psionic ability as a guide toward the path of enlightenment. Many use their skills as psychic healers and specialize in the disciplines of psychometabolism, telepathy and clairsentience. The Order has a great antipathy toward the race of illithids whom they view as the ultimate threat to civilization and will either actively seek such abhorations out and destroy them or at least undo whatever evil they may have caused. |
| White Brank Knights | A military order of knighthood found throughout Hyerune charged with protecting the innocent and promoting the cause of justice. The order is symbolized by a white birch tree which serves as their heraldic symbol. Members include warriors, fighters, rangers, barbarians and even paladins. |
| Willowbranch Knights | An order of rangers dedicated to the elven goddess Namarie. Members of the order protect distant elvish outposts and trade routes and are known as skilled orc-hunters. |
| Zenispad | A religious and military order dedicated to the god Cabel, lord of the afterlife. Their sole purpose is to hunt down and slay those who dare defile any tomb protected by their patron deity. Tomb robbers are their special prey. They are headquartered in the Basalt Hills south of the Theocracy of Anubia. Most members are lawful neutral but a number are also neutral and lawful evil. They are headed by a powerful cleric/ranger of Cabel known as the Captain-General of the Watch. |
