Summon Tanar'ri (Sp): Once per day, Mirihim can automatically summon 2d8 vrocks, 2d6 chasme or 1d3 nalfeshnees. This ability is the equivalent of a 9th-level spell. Caster Level 20th.
The Demon Lord known as Mirihim appears as a larger variety of vrock but with two vulture-like heads instead of one. The Lord of Pestilence also carries a wicked looking military fork for a weapon which he often delights in using it to skewer his enemies.
Mirihim rules the layer of Infernia known as the Aerie of Baleful Breezes. He is the master of the tempests and demon winds that continually blow throughout the plane and he is said to have the power to control winds and summon forth bolts of lightning against his enemies. Many of the vrocks are said to follow this particular demon lord and Mirihim is able to therefore summon these creatures in greater numbers than other demons.
Combat Strategies
Mirihim will usually try to weaken his opponents first before engaging in melee combat by casting his symbol of weakness or breathing out his sickness cloud to affect as many creatures as possible. The demon lord will always remain aloft when fighting in order to make full use of his talons as well as his military fork. He will fight using the reach of his fork while slashing with the talons on his legs. More powerful opponents will be targeted with his horrid wilting and he makes judicious use of his greater dispel magic to void any magical protections an enemy may have in place.
If Mirihim is greatly outnumbered, he will summon forth other tanar'ri to fight with him often while he retreats somewhat in order to make use of his fast healing ability often while conjuring up a wind wall to protect himself against missile weapons. While the summoned demons are engaged in battle, Mirihim will activate the power of his telekinesis in order to batter large projectiles against the enemy.
