Aura of Decay (Ex): Menethrax constantly exudes a horrible stench of decaying flesh that will sicken any living creature within a 20 foot radius. Fort Save DC 18. Effect will last for 1d6+2 rounds. Creatures that succeed on the save will be immune to the aura for a 24 hour period. The save DC is Charisma based.

Paralysis Touch (Ex): Similar in effect to the touch of a ghast, Menethrax's touch will paralyze anyone with a successful melee touch attack +37 unless the victim makes a successful Fortitude save DC 30. The paralysis effect will last for 1d4+1 rounds. The save DC is Charisma based.

Summon Tanar'ri (Sp):: Once per day, Menethrax can automatically summon 1d8 bebiliths, 1d8 vrocks, 1d6 hezrous, 1d6 glabrazus, 1 marilith or 1 balor. This effect is similar to a 9th-level spell.

It is common knowledge that the fiendish race known as the tanar'ri are the epitome of chaotic evil. Anarchy and complete abandon are the way of life and that demonic society lacks a true governing structure. However, if one could claim to be lord of all demons, Menethrax would be the most likely candidate. The Demon Prince of Decay is one of the most powerful of all demon lords and thus one of the more powerful individuals throughout the Abyssal Plane of Infernia.

Menethrax is truly a frightening visage standing at 18 feet in height. The demon lord has the head of a diseased bull and is often dressed in filthy rags carrying a massive iron heavy flail. Menethrax appears to be covered with horrible lesions and sores as if his skin were decayed and flaking off. This alone seems to exhibit a nasty stench that will sicken any living creature within 20 feet of the demon lord's body.

Combat
Menethrax, Demon Prince of Decay, is well prepared for most all combat situations. His high armor class combined with his damage resistance and fast healing ability allows him to avoid much physical damage. Furthermore, his innate spell resistance and energy resistance grants even more protection from any but the most powerful attacks.

Menethrax is a capable melee combatant with a powerful magical weapon, paralyzing touch and aura of decay. This combined with his formidable spell-like abilities makes the demon prince a being not to be taken lightly. Menethrax can also shapechange at will allowing him to assume various other attack forms with which to cause the most damage. He often enjoys taking the forms of multi-armed creatures in order to gain more attacks per round.

At the start of any battle, Menethrax will try to have fly spell activated. He prefers starting a battle using his magical abilities in a most devious manner. He will often target any clerics or paladins in a group with his morality undone while striking out at bards and sorcerers with a pox. Wizards and leader-types will be targeted by multiple feeblemind or an insanity spell. The demon prince will reserve his blindness/ deafness, doom and contagion for anyone who attempts to approach him for melee.

If faced with a challenging enemy, Menethrax will use his summon tanar'ri ability to call for reinforcements before using his shapechange ability.

Servants and Minions
The Demon Prince of Decay is certainly not without his followers whom he will often use to speak on his behalf rather than appearing in person. Among these more powerful servants are a powerful balor demon, a fiendish black dragon and a vampiric high priest.
