The Plane of Infernia, also known as the Realm of Demons, is a tempestuous plane and one that should be avoided at all costs. Here chaos and evil are the mantra of daily life where the strong regularly torment and slay the weak. All of the evil spirits of this realm are exceptionally powerful individuals but even their might is nothing compared to that of the Demon Lords.

Demon Lords are creatures with great powers who rule over all others and often control entire layers of their native plane. Many of the beings are believed to have been the creation of Shiran, the god of chaos. The exact number of Demon Lords are unknown for many of them have nothing to do with the Prime Material Plane or the World of Hyerune. Below is a brief listing of some of the more active or well-known lords:

Menethrax- the Demon Prince of Decay. Menethrax appears as a gaunt, bull-headed humanoid creature covered with sores and leprous lesions. The Demon Prince gives off a foul stench of decay like rotting flesh within a 20' radius similar in effect to the stinking cloud spell.

Demoriel- Princess of the Succubi. Demoriel appears as a female demon with milk white skin, raven hair and large bat wings on her back. Her eyes glow with sinister desire. The Demon Princess is always bejeweled in gold and gemstones of the highest value.

Mirihim- Demon Prince of Pestilence. Mirihim appears as a horrible two-headed vulture humanoid with enormous wings like a giant bird of prey. His legs end in fearsome talons and he is the lord of the vrock.

Sheolba- Demon Queen of Shadow. Sheolba appears as a female dark elf but with large bat wings and often with four arms. She is the patron goddess of the dark elven race and is generally depicted enshrouded in shadow. She is attended by many shadow demons whom she also rules over as queen.

Dheragos- Demon Prince of Nightmares. Dheragos is a mighty demon lord governing the realm of fears and phobias. He himself appears as if right out of one's worst dreams. Dheragos has a body of a huge biped with the head of a great, scaled lizard, a mouth of razor sharp teeth, a mane of bone shards, the legs of a goat and the body of a gorilla. Dheragos is one of the more powerful demon princes and he is said to rule over no less than three layers of Infernia.

Garzabhul- Demon Lord of Yetis. Garzabhul is not as powerful as some of the other demon lords but is certainly no less fearsome. This hateful creature appears as a massive and hulking brute covered with shaggy white fur stained with the blood of his many victims. His hugely muscled arms end in terrible claws and is face is the color of soot. Garzabhul is known among demonkind to be a sullen and foul-tempered beast, even for a demon, and should be given a wide berth. He is the lord of the yetis.

Ocanthus- Lord of the Watery Death. Ocanthus appears as a great jellyfish like creature with a semi-transparent body containing a single blood-red orb said to be his eye. The creature has numerous tentacles each ending in wicked barbs. His touch is said to contain a virulant poison. Ocanthus rules the 450th layer of Infernia known as the Blood Sea.

Jezrak- Demon Prince of the Undead. Jezrak is the infernal patron of the damned and one of the better known demon lords in Hyerune. He has the head of a boar with yellowing tusks, a disease ridden body and horrific claws and the end of his arms. The Demon Prince's eyes glow with a sickly green and he possesses the ability to pierce all illusions as the true seeing spell.
