AMYGDALA (The Mother Brain)- goddess of mind flayers, intellect and mental superiority. Amygdala is the goddess of the dread mind flayers and is said to have brought the mind flayer race from another plane of existance. Her cult promotes the enslavement of all lesser races (read any non-mind flayer). Mental alertness and acuity are the true indications of beauty. She has the rank of lesser goddess and resides in the Cerebral Citadel at the heart of the Infinite Colony on the plane of Gloomrealm.
APSHAI (Lord of the Swarm)- god of aspis, insects and the hive. Although human worshipers of Apshai are very few, if any, aspis and other insectoid life forms pay this god homage. Clerics are fanatically devoted to the god and the Lord of the Swarm teaches that the good of the many outweighs the good of the one.He has the rank of lesser god and resides in the Great Hive on the plane of Twilight Lands. Oddly enough, there exists some emnity between this god and the formians, a native insect race of that plane.
ASHURA(The Cloudbearer)- goddess of good cloud giants, storm giants, the sky, clouds and high places. Ashura is generally considered the head of the giant pantheon though the evil giant gods tend to do as they please, they all respect the Cloudbearer's power. She appears as a beautiful middle-aged storm giantess carrying a spear. She delights in storms and rain and calls all giants to ascend as high as they can to be close to their goddess. Her priests preach that earth-bound giants are dangerous and not to be trusted and that all good-aligned beings have a right to live as they choose. She has the rank of intermediate goddess and lives in the mountainous region of Spectral Vale known as Stormridge.
BASIDIAN (The Silent One)- god of myconids, fungus and meditation. Basidian is a small, obscure power with a small faith. Some druids pay him homage but the majority of his worshipers are the myconids, the mushroom-men. Priests of the Silent One will sometimes sponsor a monastary in some out-of-the-way location dedicated to peaceful meditation and contemplation. He has the rank of lesser god and resides in region of the Twilight Lands known as Fungus Dale.
DORGHA (Master of Greed)- god of duergar, greed and materialism. Dwarven mythology relates how greed can corrupt and destroy even the hardiest of souls. So it was greed that spawned the race of the duergar and corrupted them both morally and physically. Dorgha is considered their patron. Some ancient tales whisper that Dorgha was once the son of Denethor and Aredhel but priests of both of these goodly powers deny this claim. Dorgha fights with a magical longsword called "Hordefinder" that has the power to detect precious metals and treasure no matter what hides it as long as it is within 200 feet of the sword while the god wields it. Dorgha has the rank of lesser god and resides in the plane of Gloomrealm in the gem-studded halls of the Glittervaults.
DURGA (Keeper of Secrets)- god of derro, obscurement and secrets. Little is known of this small and secretive cult. Durga is a mysterious power worshiped almost exclusively by the derro though some evil dwarf wizards and sorcerers also pay this god homage. Durga has the rank of lesser god and resided in the Silent Citadel on the plane of Infernia.
FALTHAZURE (Runner of the Horizons)- god of centaurs and freedom. Although widely worshiped by centaurs, humans who live a carefree life or long for the joys of freedom also pay him homage. His cult is centered in the realms of Hyland, Uldania and Hibernia. He has the rank of lesser god and resides in the beautiful Hidden Glade on the plane of Dreamrealm.
FIONAIDHE (The Faerie Queen)- goddess of the faerie folk. Fionaidhe (pro. Fee-oh-NAY-dee) is the creator goddess of all faeries and is closely affiliated with the elven powers as well. All good aligned fae pay this goddess homage. She has a small but loyal priesthood dedicated to the beauties of the natural world. The Faerie Queen wields a magic staff called "Oakdancer" with the dancing special ability that is able to shrink or grow in size from staff to wand at her command. She has the rank of lesser goddess and resides in Faerieland on the plane of Spectral Vale.
GRIMILZAD (The Great Goblin)- god of goblins, conflict, aggression and subversion. Grimilzad is the creator of the goblin race and commands countless goblin spirits in the Netherworld from his home in the Countless Caves. His priests preach superiority through numbers and many priest coordinate the tribal breeding program. He has the rank of an intermediate god.
GROALK (Lord of the Marshes)- god of bullywugs, swamps, marshes and frogs. Groalk is the toadlike god of the bullywugs, though several neutral evil human druids of the swamps and marshes have been known to venerate this deity as well. He has the rank of lesser god and dwells in the Dismal Bog on the plane of Infernia. He is said to have granted his priests their summoning powers by binding the masters of many beasts with his clerical powers.
GRUNARIK (The Grim One)- god of stone giants and mountain giants. Grunarik is the grim faced god of the neutral giants, particularly stone and mountain giants. He rarely speaks and tends to keep to himself most of the time. He is a master stone carver and dwells in the region of the Elemental Plane of Earth known as Stonehold.
JHORGRUND (The World Serpent)- god of yuan-ti, serpents and poison. Jhorgrund is the archetypical image of the world serpent with a body so long it is said to coil several times around the world itself. Jhorgrund is the patron of the wicked yuan-ti, the snake men of the southern tropical jungles. Fortunately for the rest of the world, Jhorgrund spends much of his existence in a state of hibernation waking only a few times each century to feed and stir up his followers. He has the rank of intermediate god and dwells deep in the Den of the Sleeping Serpent in the darkest pits of Infernia.
KRA'ALC (The Fanged Maw)- god of troglodytes, camouflage and raiding. Kra'alc is the ravenous deity of the troglodytes. His avatar appears as a huge troglodyte with a misshapen head and an enormous maw line with razor sharp teeth. He carries a magical stone axe at all times and delights in decapitating his enemies before eating them raw. His priests are powerful members of their tribe and serve as tribal advisors to the chief. He has the rank of lesser god and dwells in the Reeking Caves in Infernia.
MEGRINOK (Delver of the Deeps)- god of kobolds, caves, caverns and traps. Megrinok is the nasty little god of the kobolds. The Delver of the Deeps has great emnity toward Denethor, the chief dwarf deity, because of his mining portfolio. His kobold priests are called to sabotage dwarven mine complexes whenever possible. Megrinok also taught the first kobolds the art of trapmaking and all his priest possess this skill. He has the rank of lesser god and hides in the Endless Mines on the plane of Gloomrealm.
NOGHRI (The Iron Lord)- god of hobgoblins, oppression, authority and bullies. Noghri is the patron deity of the hobgoblins and inspires his followers to push forward and expand their power and territory at all opportunities. Exploitation of the weak is a virtue for only the truly strong can hope to survive. The cult of Noghri is most active in the Kingdom of Argonak and the Fenmarch. He has the rank of intermediate god and dwells in the Death Pits on the Gloomrealm.
OGRAK (The Tree-Shaker)- god of ogres, trolls, frenzy and mindless destruction. Ograk is the terrible god of ogres and trolls. He is a savage and brutal deity that delights in chaos and destruction for no reason. He resides in a heavily fortified fortress of stone known as the Fortress of Ruins in the depths of Infernia that is continually demolished by its hostile occupants only to be rebuilt as good as new the next day. He has the power of a lesser god.
PHARAZEL (Demon Queen of Harpies)- goddess of harpies, sadism and evil avians. Pharazel is the goddess of harpies and was responsible for teaching the first flock the charming song. She is a sadist and delights in torturing victims of her charm before devouring them. Worship services dedicated to Pharazel involve ritual torture and human sacrifice. The priestesses will then drink the blood as a symbol of life and power. She has the rank of a lesser goddess and resides on the plane of Infernia in the region known as the Shrieking Glade.
RAGHARIK (The Demon Shark)- god of sahuagin, cruelty, sharks and weresharks. Ragharik is the horrifying patron of the sahuagin. He is a self-centered deity that cares little for his worshipers and only concerned with feeding and a blood frenzy. He is associated with sharks, particularly the great white shark, and worship services involve the feeding of live victims to temple sharks. He has the rank of a lesser god and dwells in a vast ocean plane on Infernia called the Bottomless Abyss.
SHOOLP'GLUB (The Spawn Mother)- goddess of kuo-toa, insanity and madness. Shoolp'glub is the insane and unpredictable goddess of the kuo-toa, the fish-men. She appears as a huge, emaciated female kuo-toa with bulging eyes that seem to flit about in the eye sockets independently of one another. According to kuo-toan mythology, it was she that spawned the first of the fishmen and she is considered mother of them all. She has the rank of lesser goddess and dwells on the Elemental Plane of Water in a region called the Great Spawning Bed.
SKORANUNG (The Thunder Lizard)- god of lizardfolk, reptiles and alliances. Skoranung is the patron power of the lizardfolk. He appears as an enormous bipedal lizardman carrying a spear. He encourages his followers to remain neutral in the dealings with other intelligent species and to seek alliances when necessary as a matter of survival. Continuation of the species is vital to maintain ones place in the world. Lizardfolk shamans preach that Skoranung created the dinosaurs and that the two species are distant cousins. The Thunder Lizard has the rank of a lesser god. He dwells on the plane of Eternal Crossroads in the regions known as the Great Tribal Lands.
SKRYMIR (Frostbeard)- god of evil cloud giants and frost giants. Skrymir is the god of frost giants as well as evil cloud giants. He is sometimes associated with the harshness of winter and death by freezing. He appears as a huge frost giant with a beard of ice carrying a massive waraxe called "Icecutter." He has the rank of a lesser god and dwells on the plane of Gloomrealm in the region called Fogshroud, a mountainous land of eternal winter and freezing fogs.
SNURRE (Firemane)- god of fire giants. Snurre is the god of fire giants and is sometimes associated with salamanders as well. Some evil human fire-elementalists have been known to pay him homage rather than Anarya but there is no real rivalry between the two cults. Snurre appears as a huge fire giant carrying a flaming broadsword known as "Hellfire." He has the power of a lesser god and dwells in the Fiery Furnaces on the Elemental Plane of Fire.
TROLDAG (Ironclaws)- god of bugbears, stealth and surprise. Troldag is the god of bugbears and it was he that taught the first of the species the art of moving quickly and silently and to attack one's enemies with surprise. He is a stern deity and priests of Ironclaws are called to kill any bugbear cubs that are weak or underdeveloped to prevent them from becoming liabilities. Troldag has the rank of lesser god. He resides on the plane of Inferia in the Dismal Den.
URGOZOD (Soul Scavenger)- god of gnolls, scavengers and hyenas. Urgozod is the demon lord of gnolls and appears as a gaunt giant form of the species carrying a huge battleaxe. This fearsome weapon is called "Soulcleaver" and is said to have the power of a sword of nine lives stealing but with unlimited soul sucking potential. Urgozod feeds on the essence of the souls he captures in this way. He dwells in a sickly fortress on the Deathplains of Infernia known as the Bone Citadel made up entirely of the bones of countless species. He is bloodthirsty and savage and expects his priests to lead the packs headfirst into battle. He has the rank of a lesser god.
URSHANA (Lady of the Crested Waves)- goddess of merfolk, locathah and dolphins. Urshana, the beloved merfolk and locathah goddess, is a gentle and peaceful power that promotes community and respect for other species. She has been known to take the form of a beautiful silver dolphin to observe her worshipers and the life in the seas of Hyerune. She has the rank of an intermediate goddess. She dwells in the Kelp Gardens on the Elemental Plane of Water.
VARAGH (The Ill-tempered One)- god of hill giants, ettins, stupidity and malice. Varagh, the patron of hill giants and ettins, is an incredibly stupid power but with incredible strength that seems to make up for his shortcomings. He delights in smashing objects with his club, particularly dwarves. Temples dedicated to the Ill-tempered One are usually simple caves covered with animal skins and decorated with skulls of humanoids and dwarf beards. Varagh appears as a massively built hill giant carrying a club. He has the rank of a lesser god and dwells on the plane of Infernia in the region called the Death Hills.
