Woven with the malice of the vile priest of Karnak, god of desolation, and to be used by the enemies of the Anubian faith, these unholy items appear as normal cloaks made of fine linen dyed jet black as the deepest midnight. They have a hood that can be drawn up over the head to partially mask the wearer and are secured by a sturdy silver clasp often in the shape of a scorpion.
The secret of the crafting was said to have been originally stolen from the clerics of the god Anu who are craft similar items for their religious ceremonies. The Shadow Cloaks are profane items however and used for evil purposes.
