Gravefinder
It is said that this magical weapon was commissioned by a powerful undead hunter from the Kingdom of Galorand. The sword is known to have powerful enchantments placed upon it against the horrors of the undead and was to be used in an attempt to cleanse the Necropolis of the Isle of Wights. The sword was crafted by a mighty necromancer known as Maldred of the Seven Deaths and possibly blest by a high priest of Cabel, god of the afterlife.
Gravefinder possesses the following magic:
- It is a +2 bastard sword
- It has the Undeadbane, Ghost Touch and Keen special abilities.
- Spell-Like Abilities: The sword can cast detect undead 3/day and halt undead 1/day. These spell-like abilities are used at a Caster Level of 10 with a Will DC=16.
- Gravefinder grants the wielder a +2 morale bonus against all fear effects from undead creatures for as long as the sword is held.
Current Status: Sadly, the wizard Maldred was as wicked as any undead and betrayed his employer. The Undead Hunter never returned from his quest to the Isle of Wights and the sword is believed to reside on that island to this day.
