The Gilded Lily

Craft during a particularly dark period of Hyerunean history when corruption and oppression were commonplace, the relic known as the 'Gilded Lily' was crafted by an Aersilinian High Priestess by the name of Jacinda Goldblossom. The relic resembles a delicate lily flower crafted from gold and porcelain enamel. The relic apprears as an ornate art object of almost unearthly beauty. The powers of the blossom are said to enhance the abilities of enchantment spells and effects as it was the High Priestess' desire that the item would be used to spread love wherever it was most needed.

Any being coming into possession of the Gilded Lily will receive a +2 Charisma bonus for as long as the relic is in that person's possession. Furthermore, if the owner of the relic has the ability to cast arcane spells from the school of enchantment, opponents of such spells will suffer a -1 circumstance penalty to all saves against such magic. In addition, the Gilded Lily has the following spell-like abilities:

All spell-like abilities of the Gilded Lily have a Caster Level of 16 with a DC=14 + spell level. The Gilded Lily is completely immune to any form of damage from a non-divine source and can not be broken or destroyed save for the most unusual and extreme methods. Suggested methods of its destruction include burying the relic in the deepest cavern of Mordagh's Caverns of Despair on the Plane of the Netherworld or to have it melted within the eternal firepits of Sheolba, the goddess of dark elves.

The Gilded Lily also possesses a Side Effect. The object becomes more desired the longer it is held. It the relic ever becomes lost, stolen or somehow removed from its owner, that person will suffer a -2 penalty to Charisma and become withdrawn and depresses. The depression can be cured with a successful heal spell applied by a 16th level caster but the Charisma penalty is permanent.
