These wicked looking devices are crafted by the hobgoblin shamans of Argonak and gifted only to the most honorable and heroic of warriors. The king of that realm will sometimes bestow one of the talismans upon a worthy recipient in order to garner greater loyalty or as a bribe for future favors.
The talisman resembles a miniature clawed hand roughly one and half inches long and grafted from gold. The device is carved with goblinoid runes of enchantment, battle and devotion. A fine leather strap is threaded through a hole at the end of the "claw" to allow the device to be worn around the neck.
When worn, the talisman grants the wearer the following:
