Artifacts and Relics are incredibly powerful devices within the World of Hyerune that should never to taken lightly. In fact, it is often best to leave such potent objects to the saints and scholars who are certainly more capable of understanding them. Artifacts and Relics are objects of great antiquity, some having even been created during the dawning of time. They are imbued with power beyond understanding but also will often carry a curse or side effect of sorts for any mortal who has the gaul to attempt to master such a treasure. Artifacts, by their definition, are magical devices of a secular nature while Relics are usually associated with some aspect of the divine.
