Somewhere in the foothills of the northern mountains of Galorand there lies a pristine well of pure spring water. This holy sity is dedicated to St. Brannoc, the demi-god of penance and spiritual journeys. The well is said to possess sacred powers. Many pilgrims, whether they are followers of the Brannocite faith or not, will venture into the hills in search of the well and to seek its healing powers.
Among other things, a drink from the well is believed to be a cure for insanity and all forms of mental illness. Some of the more devout followers of the saint claim that the power of the well can even cure the curse of lycanthropy. These claims are unsubstantiated at the least. The ground around the well is also under the permanent effect of a hallow spell.
The Well of St. Brannoc can be described as low, circular wall of gray stone surrounding a deep hole at the bottom of which is crystal blue water. A small wooden bucket attached to a rope lies nearby. The well is believed to be near the vacinity of the city of Northpoint or Trowbridge.
