The being known as the Radiant Spirit is an apparition of the Northern Filani lands of Hyerune. She is vaguely humanoid in shape and of everchanging hues. The Radiant Spirit is also incorporeal and appears to be unaffected by magic or physical weaponry. Many folk believe her to be a light elemental or perhaps the very spirit of the Northern Lights. In any case, she seems to be a protective spirit for the most part who watches over the folk dwelling in the northern lands.

Many travelers in the northern wastes have claimed to have been guided back to safety and civilization by Jorhildr. She is able to affect the ambient light in a radius of 120 feet around her being. She will often use this power to light up a path and diminish the darkness. Giants for some reason greatly fear this being and will run from her whenever she is encountered. Sages from Njordlin and Keralia are unsure as to why this is the case.

The Radiant Spirit is able to communicate in the Common speech as well as the Northern tongue of the Filani, the Giant speech and the language of the Khazar (dwarves). She rarely communicates in words however and generally remains silent during an encounter. She has also communited in the past with a form of telepathy. When in humanoid form, she is about 5'7" (1.7m) and floats in the air with a Fly speed of 60 ft (12 squares). She can also compact her body into a small, glowing orb roughly 6" in diameter with an increased Fly speed of 90 ft. (18 squares).

Jorhildr, Radiant Spirit only appears in the Hyerunean lands of the north (lands traditionally held by the Filani people).
