Located deep within the ancient forest known as the Candlewood, the wooden structure of Oakheart Abbey was once a thriving haven for the devoted followers of Endorie, the Lady of the Evergreens and goddess of nature. Serving as a center of peace and balance, pilgrims and followers of Endorie would journey to the Abbey for prayers and enlightenment. Sadly, the peaceful druids of Oakheart were ill prepared for the onslaught that was soon to come in the form of hordes of evil humanoids driving eastward from Mordregion and the Gloom Mounds. The druids and their servants and followers were slaughtered defending their sanctuary and the entire structure was put to the torch. Thus Oakheart Abbey lay abandoned and desolate for years.
In recent times, however, three mighty druidesses known as the Daughters of the Wood have answered the call of their goddess and reclaimed this land in her name. These nature priestesses hope to once again re-establish the abbey's former glory and have already begun to gather small conclaves of followers, many of whom are simple woodsfolk of Uldania. It is likewise said that a number of awakened animals, the Shaeline and even fairie folk have gathered around the banner of Oakheart. With this increase in numbers and manpower, the site has already been cleared of debris and a new structure is being built upon the very site where the former abbey once stood.
The new purpose of the Oakheart Abbey is unknown to all save for the Daughters of the Wood. Even these druidesses are of unknown origin answering only to names of Morning Glory, Water Lily and Elderberry.
