The Bone Citadel of Yurgozod

The infamous structure known as the 'Bone Citadel' is the extraplanar fortress domain of the deity Yurgozod, god of the gnolls. The mournful tower is located on the vast wasteland known as the Stinking Plains, one of the layers of Infernia, the Realm of Demons. The Bone Citadel is said to be patrolled by a multitude of gnoll spirits all kowtowing to the Soul Scavenger, as well as many fiendish hyenas and various demonic creatures.

The Citadel itself is constructed from the countless gnawed bones of the victims of the demon lord and is surrounded by nothing but desolation and eerie vegetation with an undoubtedly alien-like appearance. The "morning" time finds the plains dotted with clouds of poisonous mists that eventually burn off as the Infernal day progresses.

Yurgozod is said to hold court in a sparse throne room deep in the heart of the citadel. He is always accompanied by powerful spirits of fallen gnoll fighters and rangers. The demon lord will often journey out onto the plainlands with a large hunting party and a number of fiendish hyenas and fiendish dire hyenas on a Death Hunt. The target prey of the Hunt differs from day to day but is usually some hapless victim from the Prime Material Plane that was caught trespassing somewhere on the Stinking Plains. The Death Hunt has also been known to track down demonic rivals to the Soul Scavenger's authority though these circumstances are certainly the exception rather than the norm.
