Physical Description: Siluria is the type of woman that makes most men weak in the knees. She is an extremely beautiful and well proportioned Jendi woman with long, wavey hair the color of honey. Her eyes are bright green and she has an ample bossom. Her voice has a rich tonal quality. She stands 5'7" and weighs 120 pounds. She is 36 years old.
Personality Description: Siluria's outward physical beauty masks in inward ugliness to her soul. She is an extremely selfish and uncaring person who has no love for anyone save for herself. She enjoys using her good looks to gain an advantage, especially when dealing with males. She is agressive and quite intelligent. She is very hedonistic and loves playing with other people before getting what she is after. She is a consummate actress and plays the "damsel in distress" role very well.
Background: Siluria Nightbreeze is known as the Enchantress of Brynthia. She is a very powerful sorceress whose enchantments are one of the most potent in all of Hyerune. Many a hapless male has fallen prey to her charms only to be utterly destroyed by her wicked machinations. She was eventually driven from the Brynthian Empire but always remains close at hand and is suspected of living in disguise somewhere on one of the Border Isles.
Little is known of her past. She is thought to have been born in the capital city of Tanis to humble surroundings. He father was a minor magician of sorts who excelled at simple parlour tricks more than anything else. Yet he did instill in his only child a great fascination of magic. When the Great Plague struck the Empire, both of her parents perished and she was left to fend for herself at the tender age of 13. Even at this age, she was an extremely attractive young girl and quite mature for her age. She often sold herself for money, food and lodging and would often steal from her "paramours" whenever she could manage it.
Once Siluria reached the age of 16, her latent magical talents began to appear and she couldn't have been happier. With her new found abilities she grew to become a successful courtesan and a very wealthy one at that. Her somewhat deviant behaviors have usually prevented her from entering high society but she is well known by the middle class throughout the Imperial Capital. Her true calling came to fruition when she was approached by the Captain of the Night Watch, a high ranking military officer of the city guard, who wished to hire her services. She used her relationship with the captain to further her own agenda and to gain great influence in society. This also opened the door for her into the world of politics as she was introduced to a number of low-ranking civil servants as well as a few men with connections to the Imperial Household.
Siluria's power only grew with each passing year though her greed and vanity grew even faster. The evil sorceress finally overstayed her welcome when she became involved with a wretched nobleman from some petty house. Siluria and her lover agreed to slay his wife allowing the enchantress to take possession of the wife's great collection of jewelry. In exchange, Siluria would marry the nobleman adding her wealth to his while using her potent arcane talents to strengthen the position of his noble house. Although succeeding in the murder, they failed to make it look like an accident and were hunted down for their crime. The young nobleman was caught and sentenced to death for his crime. Siluria managed to escape to the southern lands of Kadril where she went into hiding until forced to escape once again.
Siluria Nightbreeze remains a powerful and dangerous adversary. Her greed and lust for power is almost unimaginable. She is one best left alone.
