Fleur-de-Lis Rod: This unique magical item is a gift from the goddess Seralise directly to the reigning "Fée Châtelaine" to be used in the goddess' service. The rod is a slender baton of steel and gold topped with a gold embellished fleur-de-lis finial. This magical device serves as both the symbol of office as well as a potent magical weapon. The fleur-de-lis rod acts as a +2 light mace with the holy and lawful special abilities. Once per day, the rod can be commanded by the user to cast the following spells: divine favor, prayer, remove fear and suggestion. (CL 14th; Will DC 15 + spell level)

Every few hundred years, a virtuous maiden from the land of Pelinore is selected to serve her goddess as a mortal instrument of the divine will. This maiden must be a virgin, unknown by man, and will take her place in a most rare and unusual sorority. This is the fate of the Fée Châtelaine of the Kingdom of Pelinore, servant of Seralise, the Lady of Light.

The Fée Châtelaine is chosen and taken from her family leaving behind all former traces of her former life. It is considered the highest of honors to be selected and the Fée Châtelaine spends her life of service roaming the Kingdom enforcing the lore of law and honor. She must be a potent spellcaster and upon her ascension obtains the half-fey template until the end of her days.

Morgwen, the current Fée Châtelaine, has held her position for nearly a century and has overseen the reigns of not only the current king but his father and grandfather as well. Close to the natural state of the kingdom, the Fée Châtelaine rarely involves herself in common affairs of government and spends most of her time maintaining a balance within the Kingdom of Pelinore while inspiring those honorable knights of the realm to rise to the challenges of law.

Morgwen appears as a middle aged human female with dark hair, fair skin and blue eyes yet her face is quite youthful despite her noble bearing. She is slim and tall standing at 5'10" and has delicate gossamer wings coming from her back which betray her fay heritage. As the current Fée Châtelaine of Pelinore, Morgwen always dresses in the finest of robes of linen and silk preferring colors of lavendar, deep purple, silver and gold.
