Description: Arthedur is a young male Aldari human standing 6'5" weighing 205 pounds. He has a strong build, dark brown hair and blue eyes. He keeps his face trimmed of facial hair which only adds to his youthful appearance. He is 24 years old.
Personality Profile: The young King of Valoria is very much intune with the environment around him. He is good-looking and charming and has a strong character and a commanding voice despite his inexperience of years. He is seen as a pillar of strength for the kingdom and very responsible in carrying out his royal duties. He is realistic, matter-of-fact and quite a good judge of character. He can be described as very conservative with a great loyalty to the "institution" of kingship as well as the traditions and rituals of royalty.
Background: Arthedur gained his position of power the old fashioned way- he inherited it. Despite this fact, he has proven to be an able monarch and much loved by his people. Though only of average intelligence, the young king is quite charming and rather wise for someone his age. He was raised in the royal manner as he was the eldest son of the previous king, his father Arthedur I. The old king waited to begin a family fairly late in life and was already 38 years of age when young Arthedur was born. It was generally assumed that the new king would have to ascend the throne at a young age and so his training began almost as soon as he could walk. The Astromancers of Valoria foresaw many good years ahead of the young king and had much to do with his upbringing. Arthedur is also wise enough to know when to seek out their advise and wiser still to know when to follow it.
Since the ancient kingdom has maintained good relations with most of the surrounding nations, the nation has had little to worry about in terms of war and is therefore able to concentrate on improving their daily lot in life. The king continues his family's practice of sending aid in terms of money and materials north across the border into the Shield March, a strategic fief of the King of Rendore. He also relies on the generous counsel of the dragon noble of the Mystic Mountains who has offered valuable insight to his ancestors for generations.
